I can't start wow for some reason and I am very upset. I am a very... ILLITERATE person when it comes to computers. If I am walked through something I can do it, but I have a hard time understanding what the heck I am doing and the terms.
Here is my problem:
When I start wow, it will let me log in and select my character. Once I get to the next screen with the log bar on bottom sometimes it get to about 80% and crashes the game. Some times it will get to "spawn" of my character in game (and before I do ANYTHING) it crashes.
I logged in to do some 2v2s with my friend and I decided that I wanted to queue in Ironforge so I went to the portals in Dalaran and I used the IF portal and suddenly I was in the Scarlet Monastery graveyard in Tirisfal Glades. I thought that this was just a small bug so I told my friend to queue from Stormwind since he was there and we got into a match in the Ring of Valor. As the game started I noticed that he wasn't in the starting area with me, but thanks to raid target icons, we saw that we had been placed into two different starting areas. Thinking that this was just a bug with the reinstated Ring of Valor, we played the match but we were at a huge disadvantage since the other team was able to start killing me sooner than my partner could do anything to help me.
Shortly after these first two problems, we queued for another match hoping not to get the same bug. This time the game was in Blade's Edge Arena. After zoning in, my character began to fall in the actual Blade's Edge Mountains zone and after dying I noticed that I had fallen in an area that I had never seen before. Upon releasing my spirit I zoned into the arena that my partner was in but I was in ghost form. I watched as my partner tried to 1v2 and we lost a total of 20 something points between the two games.
After the game I used the auto-unstuck feature and my character didn't even leave the Scarlet Monastery graveyard. I tried to queue for battlegrounds to see if my bug was affecting me in every zone. Entering Arathi Basin sent me straight to the graveyard instead of the normal starting zone. The other battlegrounds we fine, though I never tried Eye of the Storm or Alterac Valley
Sorry for the extremely long write up, and thanks for your time in helping me with my problem.
How about a 5 or 10 second silence like debuff so we can't cast spells or use any abilities. Or you could increase the cast time. Or even 50% mana loss, plus the debuff.
In it's current state there is an unfair balance in favor of Rogues Warriors and DKs. Mana users take a much longer time to recover their mana, unless we drink, which still take more time then it should just for switching specs, not to mention the cost, especially if you switch often.
I understand the intention for draining our mana. And I know it's only a minor inconvenience, but I think my suggestion achieves the same result, without the hassle, and makes switching specs more standard for all classes.
Since the big update (and again since the 3.1.1 update) my mouse has gone haywire.
I can play for a bit before it manifests, but eventually the game decides that either my mouse no longer has a left click button or that the left click button is ALWAYS clicked. Both cases render play more or less impossible.
I've tried different mice (corded, blue-tooth, et cetera) and it happens to all of them. I can use the computer all day, but as soon as I play WoW the problem arises.
I have also switched to a third-party mouse drivers (SteerMouse), which solved a pre-3.1.0 bug, but makes no difference on the current version.
Can somebody please shed some light on this issue? Surely I'm not the only person suffering from this bug.
I have been working on the Champion of the Frozen Waste achievement and as I near the end of my quest I noticed that when I track Champion of the Frozen Waste it says I need Heroic: Mal'ganis.
Now Mal'ganis, unless I am mistake, is the final boss of the Culling of Stratholme. If you browse my achievements under Lich King Heroic you will clearly see that I finished Heroic: Culling of Stratholme.
Assuming I haven't missed something glaringly obvious what should I do to get the Champion of the Frozen Waste achievement to recognize that I have indeed finish Heroic: Culling of Stratholme?
I have completed the instance multiple times in Heroic mode, including a successful timed run and a not so successful timed run (but we did go on to finish the instance without any problems). Both times we defeated Mal'Ganis.
Also, something else I noticed is that the achievement Northrend Dungeon Hero lists me completely Heroic: Culling of Stratholme. So it seems it is only Champion of the Frozen Waste that doesn't seem to work.
